If any cinematic experience belongs from start to finish to spectrality (Derrida), in «Kubrick» the relationship between cinema and spectrum gets evident explicitly. Through a performative spell, the projected light release images from the territory of the spectrum (not alive nor dead), giving them life, or, which is the same, killing them.
