Bruce Nauman, 1970
Bruce Nauman’s Green Light Corridor, 1970, a sculptural piece made of painted wallboard and fluorescent light fixtures, measuring approximately 10 feet x 40 feet x 1 foot. This piece enforces the contrast between the perceptual and physical experience of space in his sculptures and installations. Looking at the brilliant color emanating from Green Light Corridor (1970) prompts quite a different phenomenological experience than does maneuvering through its narrow confines.
